Bible in a Day happened three times in Winter and Spring 2013, in Vancouver, at Kwantlen University in Richmond, and at Robson Square. Look for more events on our BIAD website (click on the picture to see the website).

Beginning September 23rd, we look at the last book of the Bible, Jesus Christ's revelation to John on the prison island of Patmos. Often a source of lurid obsession or confused neglect, this testimony is so important for the church that a blessing is given "to those who hear, and who keep what is written therein; for the time is near."

   

We enjoyed a Parish Tea Saturday November 3rd in the TLC Chapel. Great food, great conversation!

Rev. Benjamin Roberts is now Curate at St. John's Richmond

Rev. Ben Roberts served at SJR in 2011 as a Deacon, and has been involved in many aspects of our ministry. At his ordination to the priesthood Feb 5th 2012, Ben received a licence from Bishop Trevor Walters to serve as Curate at SJR, working with the Rector, Rev. Sean Love. In the summer of 2012, Ben served as Interim Priest at St. Matthias and St. Luke parish in Vancouver.
